Parent Earns Second MASCAC Player of the Week Nod

MASCAC RELEASE

NASHUA, N.H. – On Tuesday afternoon, senior forward Breezy Parent of the Rivier women's ice hockey team earned the honor of Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Player of the Week for the second time this season following a three-point week against conference competition.

Parent scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Mass. Liberal Arts on Tuesday, Feb. 11 before scoring a powerplay goal on Friday night as part of the Raiders' second-straight shutout to finish with three goals and a plus/minus rating of +1.

After suffering a setback on Senior Day on Saturday, Parent and the Raiders will return to action against MCLA on Friday, Feb. 21 as part of a regular-season finale home-and-home against the Trailblazers. Friday night's contest will serve as the team's Mental Health Awareness Game with puck drop set for 6:40 p.m. at Conway Arena.
