Jolley and Parent Selected to MASCAC All-Sportsmanship Teams

MASCAC RELEASE

WINTHROP, Mass. – Devon Jolley and Breezy Parent of the Rivier men's and women's ice hockey teams were selected to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Sportsmanship teams, the league announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Jolley, a native of Massena, N.Y., appeared in 21 games in his sophomore season, assisting on two goals. He was a constant presence on the blue line for the Raiders' first season competing in the conference.

"Simply put, Devon does things the right way," said head coach Shaun Millerick. "He plays a hard and physical game, but keeps it between the whistles. He's one of our hardest workers on the ice and in the weight room. In the classroom, he holds a cumulative GPA above 3.75. The standard he sets on a daily basis has earned him the respect of his teammates and coaches, making him very deserving of the recognition."

In her senior season, Parent captained Rivier to a MASCAC Championship appearance in the league's inaugural year. The Saint Albans, Vt., product skated in all 26 games, posting career-highs in goals (nine), assists (10), and points (19).

"Breezy is a role model for everyone on the team," said head coach Marykate Drinkwater. "What makes her truly stand out is her ability to inspire others through her attitude, effort, and respect for the game. She understands what it means to be a true competitor, on and off the ice, while representing the program with integrity."
