Caitlin Victor Hired as Certified Athletic Trainer

NASHUA, N.H. – Rivier Director of Sports Medicine Rick Rowsell announced Monday afternoon the hiring of Caitlin Victor as the staff's newest Certified Athletic Trainer.

Victor joins a staff that includes Rowsell, Beckie Brannen, and Rachel Blazich prior to the 2024-25 season. She will work with the staff to provide coverage to all 15 varsity teams.

"We are very excited to have Caitlin on board," said Rowsell. "She is a very important addition to the Sports Medicine team, bringing our staff to full capacity. Given her level of experience, she will undoubtedly enable our team to facilitate the best coverage for our student-athletes."

Currently, Victor is finishing a summer endeavor with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League as the squad's primary athletic trainer.

Victor obtained her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Merrimack College in May 2024, earning her certification in the process. During her time at Merrimack, she gained valuable experience and bolstered her skill set in her clinical rotations within the athletic departments at Nobles & Greenough School, Tufts University, Harvard University, and Gordon College.

"I'm really excited and grateful to be joining the Rivier staff as the newest Certified Athletic Trainer," said Victor. "In each conversation I had with different members of the department, it was clear that this was the right place to be. I appreciate the opportunity to be welcomed into a great community and look forward to the start of the year."

Victor graduated from Oregon State University with her Bachelor's in Kinesiology in May 2021.
