Rivier Athletics Partners with TOP Fitness
NASHUA, N.H. – Rivier Athletics has partnered with TOP Fitness, a strength and conditioning program based at Conway Arena, the home of the men's and women's ice hockey teams.
TOP Fitness' founder, Scott Prunier, will lead the strength and conditioning efforts for all athletic programs, providing services both on campus at the Muldoon Center and Conway Arena. This partnership will allow student-athletes to learn proper techniques and educate them on the importance of preparation, injury prevention, and how to improve performance.
"I am looking forward to a long-lasting and productive relationship with TOP Fitness that will improve the student-athlete experience and health for many years to come," said Jonathan Harper, Rivier Director of Athletics. "We are excited to partner with a local business that will enable our student-athletes to be better prepared prior to and during the season."
Prunier followed Harper's comments by saying, "We are excited to partner with Rivier University to provide strength and conditioning services to the student-athletes this year. Our goal is to help all athletes reach their maximum potential by providing top-level education and high-level performance coaching. By investing in their student-athletes, Rivier has taken the next step in elevating their athletic programs to be the best not only in the conference but hopefully on a regional and national level. We are beyond thrilled and honored to be a part of that journey with Rivier University!"
