Courtney Palardy ’20 Promoted to Rivier Director of Athletic Operations

NASHUA, N.H. – Rivier Director of Athletics, Jonathan Harper, has promoted Courtney Palardy '20 to the Director of Athletic Operations, effective immediately.

"I am deeply honored to accept the promotion to Director of Athletic Operations," said Palardy. "I extend my heartfelt thanks to Jonathan Harper and Sister Paula Maria Buley, IHM, for believing in my abilities and entrusting me with this opportunity to contribute to our athletics department's growth and success. As a proud alumna of Rivier University, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to enhance the student-athlete experience. I eagerly anticipate an exciting year ahead for Rivier Athletics."

Palardy, who was awarded with the Unsung Hero Award at this spring's awards tailgate, joined the Rivier Athletics staff in August 2022 as the Administrative Coordinator. In her new role as Director of Operations, she provides support to the University's 15 varsity programs, their head coaches, and the student-athletes as well as the administrators. Palardy oversees budgets, manages transportation, keeps up with facility maintenance, organizes special events, and supervises the Muldoon Fitness Center student-workers, among various other duties. 

"Over the last two years, Courtney's ability to connect with student-athletes and coaches within our department has contributed to the program's elevation," said Harper. "She is dedicated to the student-athlete experience and, as a Rivier alum, is passionate about the continued success of our 15 programs."
