McGaheran Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Rivier women's ice hockey first-year forward, Keegan McGaheran, was named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Rookie of the Week for the third time this season, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
The Potsdam, N.Y. native logged two points in the Raiders' 3-0 win over Plymouth St. on Jan. 25, assisting on the game's first tally and scoring the second on a powerplay opportunity. The win marked the first against Plymouth St. in program history.
McGaheran and the Raiders return to the ice Friday, Jan. 31 to take on MASCAC foe Worcester St. Puck drop is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. at the DCU Center.
