Grumblatt Chosen to Play in NEWBA Senior All-Star Classic
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Lyric Grumblatt has been picked to represent Rivier women's basketball and play in the Division III New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Senior All-Star Classic on Sunday, March 24.
The tip-off will be at 1:00 p.m. at Tufts University in the Cousens Gymnasium located in Medford, Mass.
Grumblatt has earned an exceptional number of accolades this season. This past weekend she was one of 20 student-athletes across Division III who participated in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division III Senior All-Star Game shining on the court with an 11-point, eight-rebound, one assist, and one steal performance. Grumblatt was also honored as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Year, named to the D3Hoops.com Region 1, picked for the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) All-Region Second Teams, and she earned multiple GNAC and NEWBA player of the week awards in her outstanding senior season.
After this final recognition at Tufts, Grumblatt will return for her last year of eligibility at Rivier in the fall of 2024.
