Grumblatt Named to NEWBA First Team
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Lyric Grumblatt of the Rivier women's basketball team was named to the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) First Team. This is Grumblatt's seventh NEWBA recognition of the season.
Despite a six-point loss to Mitchell on Tuesday, Feb. 13, Grumblatt collected a double-double burying 31 points and hauling in 10 rebounds. This is the twenty-fifth game in row this season for her to reach double-digits in points. Grumblatt also contributed five assists and three steals.
Grumblatt and the Raiders travel to Standish, Maine tonight to face Saint Joseph's in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Quarterfinals, tipping off at 5:00 p.m.
