Grumblatt Named to NEWBA First Team for Fourth Time
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Senior guard Lyric Grumblatt collected her fifth New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) weekly recognition of the season as she earned her fourth First Team selection in 2023-24.
In two Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) battles, the senior guard averaged 32.5 points, five rebounds, and three assists against Saint Joseph's (Maine) and Regis (Mass.) She shot 6-of-12 (50%) from three-point goal range Saturday's loss to the Pride.
Grumblatt currently leads the GNAC in points (559) and points per game (25.4).
The Raiders are on the road Wednesday, Feb. 7 to face Colby-Sawyer with a 5:30 p.m. tip-off in a GNAC clash at the Hogan Sports Center.
