NASHUA, N.H. – Rivier women's basketball standout senior Lyric Grumblatt was named to the Second Team for D3Hoops.com Region 1 as well as the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) All-Region Second Team. These recognitions come after she was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Year in late February.

Grumblatt finished second in the GNAC in scoring with 25.2 points per game on 41.5% shooting as she guided the Raiders to their third straight postseason appearance. Her 37.4% three-point percentage was the highest of all Rivier starters in the 2023-24 campaign.

Through 27 starts, Grumblatt produced eight double-doubles, averaging 7.9 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 2.6 assists.

She was named the GNAC Player of the Week and was placed on the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) First Team on four occasions. Additionally, she was placed on the NEWBA Second Team once, and was named the NEWBA Player of the Week following a week in which she averaged 41.5 points and 6.5 rebounds.

Her 83 made threes broke the program's all-time three-point record. She also scored 680 points to sit at 1,840, the second-most in program history, behind only head coach Deanna Purcell '15 who notched 2,192 points.

Grumblatt is set to return for a graduate season in 2024-25.
