Baguidy and Stawasz Named to GNAC All-Sportsmanship Teams
WINTHROP, Mass. – Robenson Baguidy and Anna Stawasz of the Rivier men's and women's basketball teams were named to their respective Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Sportsmanship teams, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Baguidy served as captain of the Raiders' men's squad for his sophomore season, starting in all 27 games. He helped lead Rivier to a 15-12 record and a return to the conference quarterfinals for the first time in a decade. Baguidy helped mold a new roster at Rivier as the team brought in 14 newcomers in 2023-24.
Despite only seeing time in four contests, Stawasz was a key piece to the women's program's return to the postseason for the third consecutive year as a leader on the bench in the locker room.
