Lasers End Men’s Volleyball Season in GNAC Semi’s

AUBURNDALE, MA: Rivier men's volleyball ended their season this evening in the GNAC semifinal falling to Lasell University.  

THE BASICS:

- Date: 4/13/23

- Score: Lasell 3, Rivier 1 (22-25, 15-25, 26-24, 16-25)

- Records: Lasell (20-12), Rivier (20-11)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Raiders topped the Lasers in kills 47 to 46 but fell prey to errors close to the net with 20 to Lasell's 13. Riv also racked up 23 service errors to the Lasers 12.

- Jack Normandin (Clifton Park, NY) topped the Raiders offense with 14 kills and six digs. Chris Lezon (Lincoln, RI) also added nine digs with just one error. Ethan Soltis (Massillon, OH) dished out 38 assists with five digs and two kills.

- Jordan Shinaut topped all this evening with 18 kills and nine digs. Brenden Joyce finished just behind him with 16 kills and eight digs. Jesus Garcia set them both, racking up 40 assists along with 11 digs.
