Men’s Volleyball Downs Chargers

NASHUA, NH: Rivier men's volleyball took down the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer College this evening in GNAC action.

THE BASICS:

- Score: Rivier 3, Colby-Sawyer 0 (25-8, 25-14, 25-15)

- Records: Rivier (11-9, 7-2 GNAC), Colby-Sawyer (2-13, 0-6 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Raiders played well all around this evening, hitting for an impressive .482 for the match with just six errors on 56 attempts. Izaviah Hong (Lowell, MA) and Kythan Ses (Lowell, MA) led the way on offense, with both ending the contest with eight kills. Ses was almost perfect swinging from the right side with no errors, eight kills on nine attempts, which was good for a .889 kill percentage. Neil Rea (Windham, NH) was the one feeding the hitters from the setting position. He dished out 32 saves to go along with three blocks.

- The Chargers finished with ten kills in the match. Four of those came from Austin Ponsness, and another four came from Isaac Davies. Cj Murphy was the setter in this one, finishing with eight assists.
