Men’s Volleyball Tames Bulldogs

FRANKLIN, MA: Rivier men's volleyball picked up another GNAC win this evening by taking down Dean College 3-0.  

THE BASICS:

- Records: Rivier (8-7, 4-1 GNAC), Dean (1-8, 0-4 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Raiders took care of business this evening against the Bulldogs, outhitting them 44 to 13 in kills and .386 kill percentage to Dean's .037.

Thomas Miller (Clifton Park, NY) moved from the libero spot to outside hitter this evening and outperformed all others on the court. He racked up 11 kills on 16 attempts with just one error for a .625 kill percentage. Neil Rea (Windham, NH) and Ethan Soltis (Massillon, OH) split the setting duties, with both dishing out 18 assists. Matthew Diamond (Hamburg, NY) topped all with eight digs, along with two assists.

- For Dean, Tyler Martins was the top option for setter Hunter Armitage, with Martins ending the match with five kills. Armitage ended the contest with five assists, two kills, and five digs.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
