PAXTON, MA: Rivier men's ice hockey lost to Anna Maria College this evening on the road at Horgan Arena.   

THE BASICS:

- Date: 2/3/23

- Score: Anna Maria 4, Rivier 0

- Records: Rivier (6-13-2), Anna Maria (9-12-1)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- Carter Anderson was able to find Guillaume Coulombe who quickly scored in the first period for the AMCATS.

- At 9:37 in the second frame, Coulombe went on to record his second goal of the game for Anna Maria on the power play with an assist credited to Matthew Byrne. AMCATS' Patrik Peltola buried the third goal in the second period with assists from Nolan Shaw and Matthew Gilbert.

- Cam Tobey of Anna Maria scored the fourth and final goal of the game with another assist from Anderson.

- The Raiders were not able to produce any goals tonight, resulting in a shut out for Anna Maria's Aidan Richardson. Riv's Luke Newell (Littleton, CO) saved 29 shots this evening.

- Penalties: Anna Maria 12 minutes on 6 infractions, Rivier 4 minutes on 2 infractions
