Mustangs Defeat Men’s Ice Hockey

NASHUA, NH: Rivier men's ice hockey lost to SUNY Morrisville this evening at Conway Arena. 

THE BASICS:

- Date: 11/18/22

- Score: Morrisville 3, Rivier 1

- Records: Rivier (3-3-1), Morrisville (3-3-0)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- Five minutes into the first period, Morrisville's Jonas Leas passed to Cameron Clark to score the first goal of the game.

- Jame Farmer-Valente was able to score a shorthanded goal for Morrisville with assists credited to Jake Kaplan and Cameron Clark. Raiders' Cormac Hayes (East Longmeadow, MA) flew by the defenders to score an unassisted goal with less than three minutes left in the period.

- Jonas Leas tacked on the final Mustang goal in the third period.

- Luke Newell (Littleton, CO) had 18 saves for the Raiders tonight. Ryan Creenan had 30 saves for the Mustangs, gaining the win.
