2024 Season Preview: Rivier Men’s Soccer

COACH CROSS PREVIEWS 2024 SEASON

NASHUA, N.H. – After being polled in the 10-spot in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Preseason Poll, the Rivier men's soccer team will begin its 2024 campaign at Keene St. on Friday, August 30. The Raiders kick-off at 3:00 p.m. at Dr. Ron Butcher Field.

LAST SEASON

• The Raiders concluded their season with a 3-10-5 record, missing out on the postseason

CAPTAINS

• Seniors Ryan Hadouche, Thomas Lanzillo, Jose Ochoa, and Cody Sicard will lead the 2024 squad

NEWCOMERS

• The 2024 squad welcomes in 11 new players, including four transfers and seven first-year players
• First-year Head Coach Jon Cross hits the sideline for the Raiders for the first time this Friday

SCHEDULE

• The season begins on the road at Keene St. (8/30)
• The home opener starts a three-game home stint starting with non-conference opponent Plymouth St. (9/2)
• GNAC play begins just four games into the season with a home contest against Saint Joseph (Conn.) (9/11)
• Senior Day will be celebrated Saturday, October 12 against GNAC opponent Dean
• The regular season will conclude with a home bout against GNAC foe Emmanuel (Mass.)
