Field Hockey Concludes Regular-Season with Loss at Mount Holyoke

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – The Rivier field hockey team had its regular-season come to a close with a 1-0 non-conference loss at Mount Holyoke on Tuesday night at the MHC Turf Complex.

The Raiders fell to 7-11 while the Lyons improved to 8-10.

Mount Holyoke recorded the lone goal of the contest 12:47 into the second quarter as Sophia Guziewicz finished a feed from Jayonna Montigny.

Riv was outshot, 25-13, in the contest while the Lyons earned 13 penalty corners to the Raiders' two.

Senior goalkeeper Kylie Coupal made 10 saves in between the pipes for Rivier.

The Raiders now await the pairings for the GNAC Tournament to be announced on Wednesday night to learn their postseason fate.
