Rivier Student-Athletes of the Month for November 2013

(Nashua, NH) Rivier University Athletic Department has announced that seniors Nicole Peacock of Warwick, Rhode Island and Nick Walch of Dedham, Massachusetts have been selected as the Student-Athletes of the Month for November 2013.

Peacock led the Women's Volleyball team to their second GNAC Tournament Championship in three seasons as she was named Tournament MVP. She was also recognized by the GNAC as its Player of the Year for 2013 along with being selected to the Senior Classic Invitational Showcase Game.

Walch is the November Male Student-Athlete of the Month as he has led the Men's Basketball team to a Tip-Off Tournament Championship and a 3-2 record. He was named GNAC Player of the Week and the Rivier/Coca-Cola Tip Off Tournament MVP after posting incredible numbers in the two game tourney. Walch averaged 16 points and 17.5 rebounds per game in the Tournament. He has collected a total of 66 rebounds over the five games played in November.
