(Nashua, NH) Sophomore Aaron Almario (Alhambria, CA) laced 9 kills as the #10 Rivier College Raiders blanked the visiting Falcons from Albertus Magnus College, 3-0 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men's Volleyball action this morning.
Rivier took the three sets by scores of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-25-18.
Senior Alex Xenidis (Shelton, CT) finished the match with 6 kills while junior Steve Visentin (Cheshire, CT) continues to rack up the assists with 27. Visentin was also the team leader in digs with 7.
Rivier will welcome back longtime assistant coach Craig Martin and the Mount Ida Mustangs in the third game of today's tri-match. Martin was hired away by the Mustangs this past summer and is in his first season as the Head Coach.
