(Nashua, NH) The Harvard University Crimson took three straight from the Raiders tonight in NCAA Volleyball action.
The Raiders (1-1 overall, 1-0 GNAC) were led by senior Tajh Stokes (Salem, NH) who recorded 10 kills in the home opener. Junior Steve Visentin (Cheshire, CT) had his second straight 20+ assist day with 24 while senior Drew Corwin (Sudbury, MA) had a team high 5 digs.
For Harvard, the combination of senior Matt Jones (La Jolla, CA) and sophomore Nick Madden (San Diego, CA) paced the Crimson offense with a total of 23 kills – 11 and 12 kills respectively. Freshman DJ White (Hermosa Beach, CA) also had a solid game as he contributed 7 kills in the 3-0 win.
Rivier will return to action next Friday night (2/3) as they welcome Wenworth Institute of Technology to the Muldoon Gymnasium in a GNAC match up. Harvard will host EIVA opponent Springfield tomorrow night.
