Almario named GNAC Player of the Week

(Nashua, NH) Rivier College's own sophomore Aaron Almario (Alhambra, CA) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference player of the week for the second straight time this season.

The Raiders (11-6 Overall, 5-0 GNAC) had a solid week going 2-2 while competing in the Medaille Tournament on Saturday. During his GNAC player of the week honors Almario compiled a total of 28 kills, a .343 kill percentage, and 32 total points.

Almario leads the team in both hitting percentage this season with a .381 and blocks per set with 1.24 by wide margins. Almario finds himself atop most of the offensive and defensive statistics for the Raiders this year and continues to dominate the GNAC's.
