Deyarmin tabbed as GNAC Rookie of the Week!

(Winthrop, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced this afternoon that Rivier University freshman Collin Deyarmin (Raymond, N.H.) was selected as the GNAC Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week, presented by Corvias.

The first year keeper backstopped the Raiders to a flawless 2-0 week. He recorded 12 saves on 13 shots, good enough for a .920 save percentage, while posting his second shutout of the season and career. On Saturday afternoon, he stopped all six shots on net in the team's 1-0 GNAC win over Mount Ida College before registering another six save afternoon in the 2-1 overtime win against Lesley University in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon.

This is the first time this season that a Rivier Men's Soccer student-athlete has been tabbed to the GNAC Weekly Awards.

Deyarmin and the 5-4-1 Men's Soccer team will return to action on Wednesday evening with a trip to Worcester, Mass. for a non-conference contest at Clark University.
