Men's Soccer blanked by Daniel Webster in final meeting

(Nashua, N.H.) A goal from Chasen Congreves in the 58th minute was just enough as the Rivier University Men's Soccer team dropped their final contest ever against Daniel Webster College this afternoon at Eagle Field. Daniel Webster, which is in the midst of its final season, finishes with a 10-game win streak however the Raiders own the overall series which began in 1993 at 12-11-1.

Congreves tipped the ball in front of the net off a feed from Michael Ottman that was able to sneak past Rivier freshman goalkeeper Collin Deyarmin (Raymond, N.H.).

Deyarmin post 13 saves for the Raiders while DWC's Cooper Hall stopped the only shot he faced for the shutout.

Rivier (3-4-1) will host Mount Ida College in their next scheduled contest set for Saturday afternoon. The Eagles (4-3-2) will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to UMass-Dartmouth.
