- In the first period, Alexandra Snow was able to get Castleton on the board with an assist from Brooke Greenwood.

- The Spartans took advantage of the power play in the second period, with a goal from Rachel McNeil and assists credited to Julia Carpenter and Meg Aiken.

- Castleton went ahead to record their third and final goal of the game in period three from Brooke Greenwood with a pass from Samantha Lawler.

- Rachel Symmes (Chugiak, AK) was in goal for Riv today and collected 41 saves. Kristen DiCicco had 13 saves for the Spartans, gaining the win.
