(Nashua, NH) The Rivier College Raiders took the final game of today's tri-match as they swept Pine Manor College, 3-0 in GNAC Women's Volleyball play.
The Raiders (11-12 overall, 7-1 GNAC) took the sets with scores of 25-20, 25-18 and 25-22. Junior Kenna Finlayson (Derry, NH) continues to dominate as she recorded 15 kills. Sophomore Nicole Peacock (Warwick, RI) added 6 kills while classmate Nicole Boucher (Windham, NH) chipped in with 5 kills.
Senior Emileigh Cenedella (Townsend, MA) was the team leader in digs with 10. Both sophomore Jessica Amaral (East Providence, RI) and senior Caitie Callahan (Dedham, MA) tallied four digs with senior Lauren Saccoccio (Warwick, RI) contributed with 5 digs and 27 assists.
The Raiders remain just one game behind both Emerson College and Simmons College for first place in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
There will be a big game this Thursday night as the Raiders will host cross-town foe Daniel Webster College in a non-conference match. Game time is set for 7pm.
