(Nashua, NH) The Rivier College Raiders improved to 2-1 inside of Great Northeast Athletic Conference play as they shutout Suffolk University, 3-0 in Women's Volleyball action.
Junior Kenna Finlayson (Derry, NH) paced the Raider attack as she was able to record 16 kills. Sophomore Nicole Peacock (Warwick, RI) was second on the team with 7 kills while freshman Taylor Davis (Machiasport, ME) had 5.
Both junior Jessica Amaral (East Providence, RI) and senior Caitie Callahan (Dedham, MA) had double digit digs with 11 each.
This marks the second time this season that the Raiders (6-11 overall, 2-1 GNAC) have taken three straight sets; the first was against Anna Maria College on September 17th.
Rivier will square off against Babson College (3pm start) in the third and final game of today's tri-match inside the Muldoon Fitness Center.
