GNAC announces 2015 Women's Volleyball All-Conference Teams

(Winthrop, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference unveiled their 2015 Women's Volleyball All-Conference teams earlier today and six Raiders were honored with two selections each on all three teams. Head Coach Craig Kolek was also chosen as the 2015 Coach of the Year after the squad finished the regular season with 28-6 overall record and a perfect 11-0 mark in the GNAC.

All-Conference First Team

Senior Emily O'Reilly (San Francisco, Calif.) was selected to her fourth consecutive All-Conference team and third straight appearance as a First Teamer. The fourth year setter had a remarkable season for the Raiders that saw her eclipse the 4,000 career assist mark and become the University's All Time leader in career assists (4,403). O'Reilly finished the season with 1,058 assists, totaled an outstanding 10.08 assists per set average and was also named the GNAC Offensive Player of the Week twice.

Junior Lauren Silverman (Chelmsford, Mass.) was selected to the All-Conference first team after being a Second Team selection in 2014. The 5-11 middle hitter was dominate along the net for Rivier this season. She led the team with 118 total blocks and a 1.09 blocks per set average – both of which are also program single season records. Silverman garnered both GNAC Offensive Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week honors this season and complied 354 kills and a .399 hitting percentage.

All-Conference Second Team

Junior Molly McCormack (Ballston Lake, N.Y.) was named to the All-Conference Second Team this season as it is her third consecutive year with a post-season honor. In 2013 and 2014, McCormack was named to the All-Conference First Team. This past season, the outside hitter hammered down 263 kills and also collected 317 digs. She cracked both the top 10 in career kills and top five in career digs with her outstanding play in 2015.

Junior Dana Mott (Medway, Mass.) is another returner to the All-Conference team as she was selected as a First Team member in 2014. Mott had a remarkable season for the blue and white as she laced 314 kills and a .393 hitting percentage to go along with her 46 total blocks. Currently Mott is just one block shy of 100 which is good for 10th on the All-Time Career total list. She also is 15th on the All-Time list for career kills with 695.

All-Conference Third Team

Sophomore Bethany Trevino (Westminster, Colo.) earned a spot on the All-Conference Third Team this season. Last year, her first year in Nashua, she was named the 2014 GNAC Defensive Player of the Year and a place on the All-Conference First Team. This season, the 5-3 libero paced the defensive effort along the backline with a team high of 420 digs and 3.82 digs per set. She appeared in 110 of the teams 119 sets over the 34-game schedule and was named the GNAC Defensive Player of the Week once. Trevino has gathered 925 digs in her career and is on pace to potentially become the program's second student-athlete to reach the 2,000 career digs plateau.

Senior Jackie Pisecco (Chelmsford, Mass.) earned her first All-Conference selection of her career as she was tabbed a member of the All-Conference Third Team. One of the senior leaders, Pisecco had a memorable final year as she amassed 231 kills, a 2.06 kills per set average and 30 total blocks. She leaves her mark in program history as her 717 kills ranks 13th All Time and is currently 11th in total blocks with 94.
