(Winthrop, Mass.) Earlier this afternoon, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced their 2015 All-Conference Teams for Women's Soccer. Rivier University junior Maggie Cohoon (Derry, N.H.) was honored with her second consecutive selection to the All-Conference Second Team.
The second year student-athlete for the Raiders in 2015 was brilliant once again as she led the team with nine goals scored and collected seven assists for 25 total points. Cohoon was a spark plug leader for the team as the program made their first appearance in the GNAC Post-Season Tournament since 2006.
Cohoon played in all 17 games for Rivier and registered a total of 56 shots on net. She scored twice in two games this season and recorded her personal best of six points in the team's 5-0 win over Anna Maria.
This is the second year in a row that Cohoon was named to an All-Conference team. Last season she was named to the All-Conference Third Team.
