Women's Soccer's Godschall named GNAC Rookie of the Week

(Winthrop, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced earlier today that Rivier University's Nicole Godschall has been selected as the Confernece's Rookie of the Week for Women's Soccer. 

The first year midfielder from Hudson, N.H. registered two goals and two assists for six points in leading the Raiders to a 1-1 week. After tallying an assist in the 5-4 overtime loss to Norwich on Monday (10/12), she guided the team to an important 4-2 victory over Suffolk Univerity this past Saturday. 

This is the first time that a Rivier Women's Soccer Student-Athlete has been honored by the confernece this season.

Godschall and the Raiders will continue their quest for a post-season spot when they return to the pitch on Wednesday evening. The Raiders will welcome GNAC foe Anna Maria College to the friendly confines of Raider Field for a 5:30pm kickoff.
