Women's Soccer falls to Lasell College

(Newton, Mass.) The Rivier University Women's Soccer team dropped a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest this afternoon on the road against Lasell College, 10-0 at Taylor Field in Newton, Mass. The Raiders slip to 4-3-0 overall and 0-2 in the GNAC while Lasell improves to 4-2 overall and 2-0 GNAC.
Megan Cullen (Amesbury, Mass.) scored a pair of goals and Bridget Lynch (Dover, N.H.) scored twice and tallied four assists in the contest to lead the Lasell College offense.
Sophomore Maggie Cohoon (Derry, N.H.) provided a couple of shots on net and freshman goalkeeper Lauren Goodspeed (Merrimack, N.H.) made 11 saves in the loss for Rivier.
The Raiders will travel across town as they take on Daniel Webster College in their next scheduled contest on Tuesday, September 24th at 4pm. Lasell will return to the pitch tomorrow when they travel to Amherst College for a 2pm kickoff.
