Women’s Basketball Too Much for Chargers

NASHUA, NH: Rivier women's basketball won against Colby-Sawyer College in conference division action today in the Muldoon Center.   

THE BASICS:

- Score: Rivier 63, Colby-Sawyer 44

- Records: Rivier (7-6, 4-1 GNAC), Colby-Sawyer (2-7, 0-3 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- The Raiders controlled the game from the jump. Hannah Muchemore (Nashua, NH) led the Raiders earning 18 points and four rebounds. Riv's Lyric Grumblatt (Manchester, NH) added on 12 points and three assists. Rachel Guinn (Clinton, MA) came off the bench to contribute 10 points and nine rebounds for the Raiders.  

- Emily Parent of the Chargers put up nine points and collected four rebounds. Elyza Mitchell provided eight points and six rebounds for Colby-Sawyer.  

- Riv had a free throw shooting percentage of 64.7% and Colby-Sawyer had a free throw shooting percentage of 87.5%.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

- Rebounds: Rivier 45, Colby-Sawyer 36

- Assists: Rivier 13, Colby-Sawyer 7

- Shooting Percentage: Rivier 37.9%, Colby-Sawyer 27.5%
