KEENE, NH: Rivier women's basketball fell this evening in non-conference action to Keene State.  

THE BASICS:

- Date: 11/29/22

- Score: Keene 71, Rivier 61

- Records: Keene (2-3), Rivier (3-4)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  Both teams struggled in the first half to get anything going. They both shot under 30% from the field as they put together a halftime score of 11-22 in Keene's favor.

- The second half saw a drastic improvement in the scoring output for each team. The Raiders took the third quarter 20-19, but with the deficit from the first half didn't gain any ground. The two teams stayed even through the fourth quarter, with them both putting up 30 points each.

- Rivier had all five starters in double digits tonight. Leading the way was Hannah Muchemore (Nashua, NH), who had 14 points. Anna Stenger (Weare, NH) was just behind her with 13 points and one rebound shy of completing the double-double with nine. Alexa Dufries (Leicester, MA) contributed six rebounds in the effort, along with 12 points. Jessica Carrier (Manchester, NH) and Lyric Grumblatt (Manchester, NH) rounded out the starters with 11 points each.

- The Owls were led by Aryanna Murray, who had a game-high 18 points. Rylee Burgess finished with a double-double of 11 points and 13 rebounds. Kenzie Durnford also added a substantial effort in tonight's contest, adding 16 points and nine boards.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Rebounds: Keene 51, Rivier 39

-  Assists: Keene 14, Rivier 11

-  Shooting Percentage: Keene 37.9%, Rivier 33.9%
