NASHUA, N.H. – The Rivier University Women's Basketball suffered a tough Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup this afternoon against visiting Regis College, 75-33. The setback sends the Raiders to an overall record of 4-10 and 0-3 in conference play while the Pride improve to .500 at 8-8 and 2-1 in the GNAC.

Sophomore Cydney Lessard (Derry, N.H.) led the Raiders with 14 points scored and freshman Arianna Motivala (Nashua, N.H.) added eight points in the loss. Sophomore Alexandra Grumblatt (Manchester, N.H.) pulled down 11 rebounds for her 11th double-digit rebounding game of the season.

Regis was guided by the all-around effort from sophomore Arie Searcy (Santa Rosa, Calif.), who recorded the game's only double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Taylor Iorfino (Monroe, Conn.) finished with the game-high of 22 points and junior Nikki Bitinaitis (Cromwell, Conn.) dished out six assists while collecting eight points and nine rebounds.

Rivier will remain in conference action when they return to the court on Tuesday evening as they host Colby-Sawyer College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm. Regis will stay on the road with a non-conference contest at Rhode Island College on Wednesday night.
