Rams Take Down Baseball
MYRTLE BEACH, SC: Rivier baseball fell in non-conference action this afternoon to Suffolk University at the Ripken Experience.
THE BASICS:

- Score: Suffolk 12, Rivier 5
- Records: Suffolk (1-2), Rivier (2-6)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Rams scored eight between the first two innings. The three-run first inning was put together by Suffolk on three stolen bases, two walks, and two hits. Suffolk's biggest inning, a five-run top of the second, was highlighted by a three-run home run by Harry Painter to right center field and a solo home run by Joe Ward.
- The Raiders biggest inning came in the bottom of the ninth. They plated two in the inning after a Connor Dines (Framingham, MA) single to get it started. Frank Gulezian (Derry, NH) would then step up and deliver a double to left center, scoring Dines. Gulezian would then come around to score when the next batter Zach White (Long Beach, CA), hit a single up the middle.
- On the mound, Harry Painter got the win (1-0) after going five innings, allowing two hits, one earned run, and nine strikeouts. Nolan Mederos (Nashua, NH) suffered the loss (0-2) after going 1.2 innings, four hits allowed, seven earned runs, and three strikeouts.

- Painter was 2-for-5 with 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
- Garret Roberts was 3-for-5 with 2 RBIs and 1 run scored.
- Dylan Aliberti (Sandown, NH) was 1-for-2 with an RBI and 2 walks.
