Cadets Down Women’s Soccer 4-1

NORTHFIELD, VT: Rivier women's soccer dropped tonight's conference matchup with Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont.

THE BASICS:

- Date: 10/5/22

- Score: Norwich 4, Rivier 1

- Records: Norwich (3-7-1, 1-5-1 GNAC), Rivier (0-9-1, 0-6-1 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Cadets got on the board first 18 minutes in after an Isabel Doherty goal. Norwich tacked on one more 11 minutes later to go up 2-0 by way of a Bella Roy score. The Raiders would get one back just before the half in the 38^th minute. Kaylee Magoon (Loudon, NH) found the back of the net for her third goal of the season.

- The second half saw two more Cadet goals to extend their lead and get the final of 4-1. Antonia Pellon netted her first goal of the season to put the score at 3-1 in the 46th minute of the contest. Roy would cap the game off with her second goal to get the final.

- Julia Cafferty (Tewksbury, MA) saw ten shots on goal and saved six. Rebecca Karis had four saves in net for the Cadets.
