Cadets Down Women’s Soccer 4-1

NORTHFIELD, VT: Rivier women's soccer dropped tonight's conference matchup with Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont.

THE BASICS:

- Date: 10/5/22

- Score: Norwich 4, Rivier 1

- Records: Norwich (3-7-1, 1-5-1 GNAC), Rivier (0-9-1, 0-6-1 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Cadets got on the board first 18 minutes in after an Isabel Doherty goal. Norwich tacked on one more 11 minutes later to go up 2-0 by way of a Bella Roy score. The Raiders would get one back just before the half in the 38th minute. Kaylee Magoon (Loudon, NH) found the back of the net for her third goal of the season.

- The second half saw two more Cadet goals to extend their lead and get the final of 4-1. Antonia Pellon netted her first goal of the season to put the score at 3-1 in the 46th minute of the contest. Roy would cap the game off with her second goal to get the final.

- Julia Cafferty (Tewksbury, MA) saw ten shots on goal and saved six. Rebecca Karis had four saves in net for the Cadets.
