Women’s Soccer Bested by Blue Jays

NASHUA, NH: Rivier women's soccer fell this afternoon to the University of Saint Joseph's in conference action.

THE BASICS:

- Score: USJ 4, Rivier 1

- Records: USJ (3-5-1, 2-3-1 GNAC), Rivier (0-7-1, 0-5-1 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Blue Jays would go up 2-0 in the first half on two goals scored by Maxine Muscatello.

- Saint Joseph's would tack on two more again from Muscatello, who finished with an impressive four goal game. The Raiders would get one back in the 88th minute on a Kaylee Magoon (Loudon, NH) goal.

- Julia Cafferty (Tewksbury, MA) made 13 saves in net for Rivier this afternoon. Chandler Douglas saw just two shots on net, saving both.
