The Bison Cruise Past Women’s Soccer

NASHUA, NH: Rivier women's soccer lost to Nichols College in non-conference action tonight on Joanne Merrill Field. 

THE BASICS:

- Score: Nichols 5, Rivier 0

- Records: Rivier (0-8-1), Nichols (5-4-1)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- For the Bison in the first half, Maegan Roy passed the ball to Grace Killman who snuck by with the first goal.

- In the second half, the Bison did not let up and scored four more goals. Emily Feisthamel netted the second Nichols goal. Falyn Hunt went ahead to score the next two goals for the Bison, with assists from Emily Feisthamel on the first goal and Grace Killman on the second goal. Khaylin Hatcher pressured Riv with another Nichols goal with ten minutes left in the game. 

- Julia Cafferty (Tewksbury, MA) had 18 saves in goal for the Raiders. Adie Hughes had zero saves in goal for the Bison, taking the win.
