Women’s Soccer Draws Even with Dean

FRANKLIN, MA: The Rivier women's soccer team ended their game this morning against conference opponent Dean College on Grant Field in a draw.  

THE BASICS:

- Date: 9/18/22

- Score: Rivier 0, Dean 0

- Records: Rivier (0-3-1, 0-1-1 GNAC), Dean (1-2-2, 0-1-1 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  In a very evenly matched contest, the result showed just that. Both teams were unable to score a goal to achieve the upper hand. Each team had chances to go on top throughout the contest, but each team's keeper was perfect in net.  

- Julia Cafferty (Tewksbury, MA) was a perfect five for five in net for the Raiders.

- Lexi Gerow was also perfect for the Bulldogs saving all seven shots that she faced.

-  Saves: Dean 8, Rivier 5

-  Corner Kicks: Dean 7, Rivier 5
