O'Reilly tabbed as GNAC Rookie of the Week

(Boston, MA) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced early this morning that Rivier University freshman, Emily O'Reilly was named the Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week. This is the second time that O'Reilly has been named GNAC Rookie of the Week.

The first year player from San Francisco California continues to direct the Raider offense in an impressive fashion by leading Rivier to a perfect 9-0 in sets played all week while averaging 9.33 assists/set for the week. The Raiders hit for .204 on the week with O'Reilly running the show. She also stepped up the defense by averaging 2.0 digs/set in the three victories. 

The Raiders will return to action on Friday night when they travel to Cambridge, MA for the MIT Quad Tournamet. Game time is set for 7pm.
