Finlayson tabbed as GNAC Offensive Player of the Week

(Boston, MA) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced earlier this week that Rivier University senior Kenna Finlayson has been named the GNAC Women's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.

The Derry, New Hampshire native led the Raiders to a 4-0 week including two GNAC wins to help cement the 2012 GNAC Regular Season title. The 5'9" outside hitter averaged an impressive 5.11 kills/set for the week in just 9 sets played. Finlayson also got it done on the defensive end averaging 3.11 digs/set while scoring 1.00 aces/set.

Finlayson will lead the Championship Title defense for the Raiders as they host #8 Lasell College in the GNAC Quarterfinals tonight at 7pm inside the Muldoon Gymnasium.
