Twice as Nice! Ryan and Larsen chosen for GNAC Weekly Honors

(Winthrop, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference has announced that Rivier University Men's Lacrosse sophomore Liam Ryan (Dorchester, Mass.) and freshman Colby Larsen (Windham, N.H.) have been awarded the conference's weekly honors for the second consecutive week.

Ryan was named GNAC/Corvias Player of the Week after posting a 10-point week with four goals and six assists. Ryan registered a hat trick and an assist in the 14-10 loss to conference leading Emmanuel on Wednesday before totaling a goal and five helpers on Saturday in the team's blowout win over Anna Maria.

Larsen posted an eight-point week as he was chosen as the GNAC/Corvias Rookie of the Week for the second time. He totaled six goals and two assists over the two games for Rivier. The rookie was limited to one goal against Emmanuel and tallied five goals and two assists in the win over Anna Maria.

The Raiders will be back in action on Wednesday night as they make the trip to Standish, Maine for a 7:30pm start time against Saint Joseph's College.
