Men's Lacrosse: Ryan. Larsen selected to GNAC Weekly Honors

(Winthrop, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference has announced that Rivier University Men's Lacrosse sophomore Liam Ryan (Dorchester, Mass.) and freshman Colby Larsen (Windham, N.H.) have been awarded the conference's weekly honors.

Ryan was tabbed as the GNAC/Corvias Co-Player of the Week after registering a pair of four goal games to go along with four assists, piling up 12 total points in the team's 1-1 week. The sophomore had four goals and one assist in the tough 14-12 loss at Mount Ida on Wednesday before netting four goals and three assists to set the pace for the Raiders in the 16-7 triumph over Johnson and Wales.

Larsen earned his first career weekly honor with seven goals and two assists for nine points over the two game week. In the Mount Ida game on Wednesday, Larsen scored twice and added an assist. He followed that with a five goal performance in the home win over JWU.

Ryan and Larsen will lead the Men's Lacrosse team into two important conference games this week with a home date against defending champion, Emmanuel (4/13) and a road trip to Anna Maria (4/16).
