Women's Soccer: Cohoon selected to All-GNAC Second Team

(Winthrop, Mass.) Rivier University Women's Soccer senior Maggie Cohoon (Derry, N.H.) was honored earlier this week as she was selected to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference All-Conference Team. The veteran forward earned All-Conference Second Team honors as for the second consecutive season and it's the third straight season in which she was tabbed an All-Conference student-athlete (Third Team selection in 2014).

Cohoon was the offensive spark for the Raiders in her final campaign. She netted 11 goals which accounted for 55% of the teams goals and accumulated a team high 22 points. Cohoon appeared and started in 15 games this season – racking up a total of 63 shots, 45 on net for a .714 Shots on Goal percentage. Cohoon recorded four game winning goals including the thrilling 1-0 win over Fitchburg State back on September 15th. Four times this season she registered two goals in a contest as she wrapped up her GNAC career with a pair of two-goal games in wins over Norwich (10/19) and Suffolk (10/22) – both were 2-0 finals.
