Andler selected as GNAC Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week

(Winthrop, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced earlier today that Rivier University freshman Grant Andler was selected as the GNAC Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week. 

The Chicago, Illinios native helped Rivier to a 3-0 week in GNAC play as the Raiders finished in first place in the regular season. Over just seven sets played, the 6-6 right side hitter put down 18 kills on a .286 hitting percentage and also added six total blocks and six service aces. Overall, he averaged 2.57 kills and 0.86 blocks per set.

This is the third consecutive week that Andler has been named the GNAC Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week. 

The top seeded Raiders will await to face the winner of the JWU and Emmanuel match on Thursday evening at the Muldoon Gymnasium.
