Field Hockey's Foster named GNAC Goalie of the Week

(Winthrop, Mass.) Sophomore goalkeeper Emily Foster (West Lebanon, N.H.) was selected as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Field Hockey Goalie of the Week, the conference annouced earlier this afternoon. 

In the team's only game of the week, Foster stopped 12 of 15 shots in a 3-0 setback to undefeated Lasell College on Saturday afternoon. 

This is Foster's third time in her career being honored by the GNAC. Last season she was named Rookie of the Week on October 5th and Goalie of the Week on October 26th. 

The Field Hockey team will return to action tomorrow night as they travel to Henniker, N.H. for a 7pm non-confernce contest against New England College.
