Taylor Black selected to the GNAC All-Conference Third Team

(Boston, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference has unveiled their 2014 All-Conference Teams this morning and Raider sophomore Taylor Black was honored with a third team selection. The teams are voted on by the eight GNAC Baseball Coaches.

The West Springfield, Massachusetts native had a remarkable year for Rivier in 2014. He was limited to only 23 of the team's 30 games due to a quad injury but was still able to lead the team with 26 hits and a .371 batting average. The 5-11 second baseman also lashed out a team high six doubles and 9 RBI on the season while only committing three errors in 88 total chances. Black only struck out three times in 75 plate appearances while working five walks.

This is the first time that Black has been selected to the All-GNAC team in his career at Rivier.
