Molly McCormack named GNAC Rookie of the Week

(Boston, MA) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced that Rivier University freshman Molly McCormack was selected as the Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week.

McCormack, a native of Ballston Lake, New York, had an outstanding week helping the Raiders to their first ever win over Trinity College who is currently ranked 11th in New England.

The 5'7 outside hitter registered a team high 31 kills in 9 sets played for the week (3.44 kills/set) all while hitting for an impressive .328 percentage. She also averaged 2.0 digs/set in the 9 sets. Molly highlighted her week with a 17 kill, .467 hitting percentage, and 10 dig effort in the win over Trinity College. 

This is the first time that McCormack has been honored by the Conference.
