PURCHASE, N.Y. – Following a tough 3-2 penalty stroke loss yesterday to Elms College, the Rivier University Field Hockey team dropped a non-conference game to Mahattanville College 9-0 this afternoon at GoValiants.com field.

Junior goalkeeper Mackenzie Flagg (Shirley, MA) had a busy afternoon for the Raiders as she faced 23 total shots while turning away 14 of them. The Raiders were outshot in the game by a 41-1 edge.

The loss drops the Raiders 2013 record to 1-4. They will look to rebound from this tough weekend as they are scheduled to host Becker College on Thursday night. Game time is set for 7pm.
