Men's Volleyball: #12 Raiders fall to MSOE in four sets

(Milwaukee, Wisconsin) The Rivier University Men's Volleyball team began their spring break a little early as they managed to travel out to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a Friday afternoon match with Milwaukee School of Engineering. The Raiders were outdone on the road as MSOE earned the four set win by scores of 25-14, 20-25, 25-16 and 25-14.

The Raiders, who are ranked #12 in country in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll, are now 10-7 overall while MSOE moves to 9-2 overall on the season.

Rivier was guided by the offensive efforts from senior Ian Wolski (Westfield, Mass.) who led the team with eleven kills, three total blocks and junior Grant Andler (Chicago, Ill.) who totaled nine kills and two block solos. Senior Matt LaSance (Madison, Conn.) dished out 32 assists on the evening while freshman Cam Roth (Coventry, R.I.) also knocked down seven kills for the Raiders. Both Wolski and Andler led the team with 10 digs each.

MSOE saw Logan Baerenwald swing at a .481 clip with 16 kills and collect six block assists and ten digs on a stellar night. Quin Krisik dished out 41 assists to go along with his seven kills and three total blocks.

Rivier will remain in the badger state as they travel to Kenosha, Wisconsin for a non-conference tri-match with #8 Carthage College and Loras.
